Eat Chocolate....

Only a hand full of people know that I am also a distributor for a Healthy Chocolate Product that I have been taking since last Thanksgiving.  I really didn't think that this was doing much for me until recently.  I have been blessed to have a fellow demonstrator for this chocolate on my Pumpin' Ink team as well.  I was informed that her son has been going through some medical issues and I just wanted to let her know that I was thinking of her.  I thought this cards was just perfect.....If you would like to know more about this chocolate product or about how I made this card, please let me know!

 

A personal challenge

One of my personal challenges this year is to use up as much of the pre-cut card stock that I have instead of cutting new card stock.  I have tons and tons of pre-cut card stock from previous classes and stamp-a-stacks.  When I was asked to make up 40 cards I decided that this was the perfect opportunity to use up some of this card stock.  This is one of the cards that I made and I have to tell you, I LOVE this card.  I know the Bermuda Bay card stock is retired but look at how bright and fresh this card is.  I would love to hear what you think of this card.

Strength and Hope

I saw this card on Tenelae Williams (I think that's who it was) blog and I fell in love with this card.  I just had to make it.  This is the new Strength and Hope stamp set is dedicated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.  If you would like to know more about this stamp set and promotion, please let me know.

On Your Wedding Day....

As many of you know Shawn and I were invited to a wedding at a winery just outside of Niagara Falls a couple of weeks ago.  It was a beautiful but wet wedding as it poured all day long.  This is the card that I made for the special Bride and Groom.  I hope they enjoyed it, I enjoyed making it for them.  I included the small envelope die from the Big Shot collection and put our money gift inside so it didn't get misplaced.  I hope you enjoy this card.  It is a great card to make if you have a lot of weddings coming up and we do appear to be heading into that season!  Change up the colours and you have a totally looking card...Enjoy!

A Double Special Day!

So not only is today Mother's Day, it is also my husband's birthday.  We spent the night in London last night at the Blue Collar Group with Jeff Foxworthy and Larry the Cable Guy.  What a great night.

I would just like to say, Happy Mother's Day to all the wonderful mother's out there.  Treat your self to something nice!

Welcome Babies!

Those of you that follow my blog regularly know that one of my closest and dearest friends, just had a set of twins after several years of miscarriages.  This was such a huge thing for her and I can't even put in words how happy I am for her and her husband.  I sent her a couple of hand knitted hats made by another one of my dear friends.  Check out Brittany's page on Facebook at Itsy Bitsy Beanies by Brittany.  Anyway, this is the card that I sent down to my friend and the girls.  I have been wanting to make one of these cards for a very, very long time and I thought this was the perfect opportunity.  Hope you enjoy this card as much as I enjoyed making it.  Until we stamp again together.....

First Holy Communion Invites

So in yesterday's post, I referred to the invitation that I made for my niece's First Communion.  Attached is the first shot of the outside of the card.  I saw this card from the front of the Stampin' Success magazine and I fell in love with it.  Stampin' Success is a demonstrator only magazine that we get from SU every month.  I just love this magazine and it is like Christmas every month when it arrives in my mailbox.  The next picture is a shot of the inside of the invitation.  Overall, I am very happy with how it turned out and I think it is just so pretty for a First Communion.   I would love to get your thoughts on it.   I hope you enjoyed this card and it gives you some inspiration to make your invitations for your next family gathering.  

Another Masculine Card

Okay, I just love this stamp set.  This is another one of the masculine cards that I was asked to do.  This is a really cool technique I was taught from my very great friend Tammy.  This is called Brayering....If you would like to learn how to do this technique, let me know, I would love to show you how...It is so very easy and you will just love the end result.

First Communion Tags

So as some of you might know I helped my sister make her daughter's First Communion invites, which I will share with you shortly.  Once she showed a few of her fellow coworkers the invitations they loved them.  One of her coworkers loved it so much that she asked me to make the same invitation for her daughter's communion.  Well she loved the invites so much that she quested little gift tags for the party favours as well to match the invitations.  This is what I came up with.  Very easy and simple but I think appropriate.  I would love to hear what you think.  

Masculine Card

So I was asked to make 40 cards for a customer.  20 female and 20 masculine.  This is one of the cards that I came up with.  Very simple as the customer requested no sentiments on the cards.  Hope you enjoy it.
